Semel is Palos Verdes' leading scorer so far this season, and he will be going to play for former Duke University head coach Mike Pressler.

"He's a hard-nosed, two-way middie who can shoot the lights out," Jaffe said. "He's a physical player who is good at creating shots for himself."

Jaffe said he believes Semel will be a successful college lacrosse player.

"I think under Coach Pressler, with his work ethic, I have confidence in him being a top middie at that level," Jaffe said. "He has the size and speed to be an impact player."
